Wedding Officiant with +15 years of experience.
Wedding Officiant. Same Sex Ceremony in LA

I was born in Colombia, but due to my law profession and involvement in politics I suffered from security issues that forced me to move to the United States in 1999, where this great Country gave me the protection I so desperately needed. I initially lived in Florida for two years but while vacationing in Los Angeles, I met my beloved husband, who stole my heart from the very beginning and I ended up staying here for good. We have been together since 2003 and we have 2 beautiful boys.

To be a Notary Public in Colombia is very different from being one in the United States, because it is required to be a lawyer with at least 15 years of experience, and the Notary Public’s office is a hybrid between the County Register, the Justice of the Peace and Mediator/Arbitrator. Among the different responsibilities assigned to the Notary is to officiate the civil marriages, which my father as a Notary, delegated to me for several years. Since this part of my job was what satisfied me the most, I decided to do it again.

I am a romantic at heart and an altruist, who believes that we are all children of God and the Universe and we all have the right to be happy, loved, respected and accepted. I believe in love and I enjoy immensely witnessing couples profess their feelings to each other, committing to a beautiful life together and being part of one of their most memorable dates.

My professional experience as a lawyer as well as my personal experiences, such as living in different countries, having family living in South America, Europe and the USA, as well as being fully bilingual, has given me a multicultural background that will help me to customize your wedding in a very unique and special way.

I look forward to meeting you and it would be my privilege to be able to be part of the most important day of your life.
